James E. Stoddard, PhD

Associate Professor of Marketing

James E. Stoddard (Ph.D., Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University; 1994 AMA Doctoral Consortium Fellow), Associate Professor of Marketing at Appalachian State University. The recipient of the 1990 Harold H. Berry Scholarship from the Purchasing Management Association of the Carolinas-Virginia.

His research has appeared in several journals including the Journal of Marketing Channels, Marketing Management Journal, Psychology and Marketing, Services Marketing Quarterly, Tourism Economics and others as well as academic proceedings and book chapters. Dr. Stoddard is a current member of the Editorial Review Board of Psychology and Marketing.

He has presented papers at several professional conferences and has taught in executive development programs. Dr. Stoddard is a member of the American Marketing Association and the Decision Sciences Institute.
