Jim's research focuses on employee selection, compensation, motivation, and business ethics. Jim's research has been published in Group and Organization Management, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, the International Journal of Selection and Assessment, Academy of Management Learning and Education, the Journal of Business and Psychology, the Journal of Business Ethics, the Journal of Management Education, Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal, the Journal of Managerial Issues, Career Development International, the International Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Performance Evaluation, and the Journal of Business Communication, among others. Jim authored the book Person-Organization Fit: Effects on Employee Attitudes and Behavior.
Jim lives in Boone, North Carolina with his wife Jennifer, two children (Ansel and Iris), 3 dogs (Cassie, Mila, & Doonie), and cat (Gilly).
