Dr.
Goff is a Professor of Finance
in the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance at Appalachian
State University. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses
in corporate finance and investments. In addition,
he has taught executive seminars and workshops on financial
management and business valuation techniques. Dr. Goff was
the recipient of the Outstanding Teaching Award presented by
the John A. Walker College of Business at Appalachian State
University. |
For
several years Dr. Goff served as a consultant for the Independent
Insurance Agents of North Carolina, Inc. where he was involved
in insurance agency valuation. In addition, Dr. Goff has served
as an expert witness regarding business valuation and other
financial issues. Dr. Goff is an active researcher in the area
of corporate finance and investments and his research has been
published in academic and trade journals.
Dr. Goff received a Bachelor
of Science in Business Administration degree from the University
of Florida in 1986, a Master of Business Administration from
Florida State University in 1987 and a Doctor of Philosophy
in Business Administration from Florida State University in
1991. |
