Don R. Cox has taught courses in banking, investments, financial management, and international finance. He received a North Carolina Board of Governors Teaching Excellence Award in 2003 and was the recipient of the Outstanding Teaching Award for the Walker College of Business in 2000.
Don's research interests are primarily in the areas of stock market efficiency and corporate finance, and he has published research in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Investing, and other scholarly journals.
Dr. Cox has taught financial management executive education seminars and has served as a financial consultant to several companies and organizations.
Prior to pursuing a career in academia, Don worked for approximately ten years with W.R. Grace; holding positions in financial analysis & planning, financial management, and project management.
