Digital Measures FAQ
In Spring 2009 the Walker College of Business officially transitioned to a new faculty data management system called Digital Measures. It is expected that Appalachian State University will adopt Digital Measures for faculty campus-wide.
The new system replaces Sedona, with which many COB faculty are familiar. Sedona is no longer being used.
A brief introduction to Digital Measures was prepared prior to the system going live for use by faculty (download here [DOC]). Since then, there have been questions from faculty not anticipated in the introduction. These have now been organized into a Frequently Asked Question page. If you have further questions, please contact COB Digital Measures administrator Rob Robertson.
Access to Cabell's
All Walker College faculty have access to the online listing of journals maintained by Cabell Publishing Inc.
Cabell's maintains an exhaustive database of academic journals and includes information such as review type and acceptance rate. The database is only accessible from an on-campus computer. For more information, contact Rob Robertson.
