BSBA Degree Requirements

A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in economics consists of 24 semester hours in addition to the College of Business core courses required for the BSBA degree.

Students not majoring in the College of Business may earn an economics minor by completion of the following 15 semester hours of coursework.

The Department of Economics offers coursework at the graduate level in support of the Walker College of Business degree programs. Prerequisite to enrollment in a graduate course offered by the Department of Economics is admission to a graduate program of study, admission to a graduate certificate program, or permission of the instructor and the departmental chair. In addition, enrollment in MBA courses requires permission of the MBA Program Director. A non-degree student must obtain permission from the Graduate School to enroll in 5000-level courses.

The Department of Economics also participates in a graduate program leading to the Master of Arts degree in Social Science, Education (Major Code: 282*/13.1317) with a concentration in Secondary School (Advanced Licensure)/Economics (282S)[T].
