CERPA Research Recognized for Transforming North Carolina
The Cratis D. Williams Graduate School awarded the Transforming North Carolina Research Award to a CERPA research team that examined the social and economic conditions and policies across various segments of North Carolina. The research was funded by the NC Rural Center.

Research Highlight
CERPA conducts policy simulation in the Appalachian Experimental Economics Laboratory. The lab enables a more precise investigation of how policy influences individual behavior and final outcomes, and serves as a wind tunnel to testbed alternative rules and policies. The insights enable decisionmakers to implement policies that better achieve targeted outcomes.
