D. Scott Hunsinger is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems in the Walker College of Business. Before joining ASU, Scott served as Dean of Academic Affairs and Information Technology (2001-2004), System Administrator (1996-2000), and Instructor (1996-2004) at NCCATT, an institution in the NC Community College System. Scott has also taught in the Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte and has worked for Microsoft Corporation and SouthTrust Bank.
Scott has previously received several grants to develop IS courses ($88,400) and to create a portable laptop training lab ($14,985). He has also assisted in writing several multi-million dollar NSF and Microsoft grants through the Regional Information Technology Consortium based in Charlotte. Scott is currently serving as a reviewer for the International Journal on Computers, Systems, and Signals, International Journal of Electronic Marketing and Retailing, Journal of Information Science and Technology, and for the ICIS, HICSS, ISECON, and San Diego International Systems conferences.
