Dr. Richard E. Crandall is a Professor in the College of Business. He is certified in production and inventory management (CFPIM) and integrated resources management (CIRM) by APICS - The Association for Operations Management. He is a registered professional engineer, a senior member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Prior to joining ASU, Dick worked as an industrial engineer, foreman, chief industrial engineer, and in general management positions for several companies, both manufacturing and service. He also worked as a consultant for a major consulting firm, installing systems for both operations and financial applications.
Dr. Crandall has a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from West Virginia University, an MBA in industrial management from Boston University, and a Ph.D. in Production/Operations Management from the University of South Carolina.
