Walker College Career Services
The Walker College of Business offers an in-house career counselor to assist students with career planning, internships and job search strategies. The office also offers a one-hour elective course to assist students at the junior or senior level in exploring business career options, refining their interviewing skills and developing necessary tools for lifelong career management.
For Students
- Career Development Center - 369 John Thomas Hall
- Career Listserve - An e-mail distribution list regarding jobs, internships and other career related information.
- Career Information Network - A database of more than 600 employers who have registered with the Career Development Center to serve as a resource for our students regarding internships, shadowing opportunities, informational interviews, etc. Most of the people in this database are ASU graduates or part of the ASU Parents Association. This is also a good resource for potential guest speakers for your classes. Contact the office of Career Services for your password
- Fall Career Action Days - A marketing blitz of career related seminars designed to prepare students for the campus career fair the following week. For more information regarding dates and times, visit the Career Development Center website.
- Spring Career Success Series - A Career Development Center campaign involving multiple workshops for students. This is also the week before the campus career fair. For more information regarding dates and times, visit the Career Development Center website.

- Online Career Account demonstrations. This is the resume database utilized by both students and recruiters and the mechanism for which students register for on-campus interviews.

For Employers
- The Career Development Center offers a wide range of services to employers. The Career Gear system allows an employer to quickly and easily review resumes that meet employer defined criteria - interviews can even be scheduled via the internet.
- Employers are invited to contact the Career Development Center to discuss on-campus recruiting and interviewing, resume referrals, career fairs or to register for a Career Gear account.
- Career Listserve - an email distribution list that publicizes jobs and internships to both students and alumni.
