Thanks to the many alumni and friends who stopped by the COB tailgate prior to Saturday’s Appalachian State-Georgia Southern football game. It was one of the events scheduled for the COB GameDay at Kidd Brewer Stadium.
During the game, there was a check presentation celebrating the contribution to Walker College from this year’s Beroth Scholarship Golf Tournament. Walker College representatives joined members of the Beroth family and 4Brothers Food Stores on the field.
Also, during the radio broadcast Randy Jackson spoke with Walker College of Business dean Dr. Randy Edwards. Topics included the Beroth tournament, the Center for Entrepreneurship, the CEO Lecture Series and the cover story for the latest issue of Appalachian Today.
