Walker College of Business Beroth Scholarship Golf Tournament
The annual Appalachian State Scholarship Golf Classic is an important resource for the Walker College of Business, raising thousands of dollars for student scholarships, faculty research and professorships. Sponsored by 4 Brothers Food Stores and Beroth Oil Company Inc., this year's event was September 14 at its traditional location, Tanglewood Park in Clemmons.
The tournament format is a Foursome Captain's Choice, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m., Teams will play nine holes on each course. Special features include closest to the pin, longest drive, hole-in-one, mulligans (2 per player), and raffle.
All money raised benefits the Walker College of Business by providing financial support for student scholarships, faculty research and professorships.
