Walker College Academics
As one of the largest business schools in North Carolina, the primary goal of the Walker College of Business is to offer high quality educational experiences which prepare our students for life-long learning and leadership responsibilities in a dynamic, global environment. The college has an enrollment of more than 2,670 undergraduate and 60 graduate students enrolled in courses taught both on-campus and through Extension and Distance Education programs.
Undergraduate Programs

Through the Walker College of Business, students can obtain a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree, with a major in the following:
- Accounting
- Computer Information Systems
- Economics
- Finance & Banking
- Hospitality & Tourism Management
- International Business
- Management with General, Human Resources,
or Entrepreneurship Concentration - Marketing
- Risk Management & Insurance
The Department of Economics offers the following degrees, on campus:
- Bachelor of Arts in Economics
- Bachelor of Science in social sciences, education (with teaching licensure) with a concentration in economics.
Graduate Programs

Through the College of Business, students can obtain the following degrees:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Science in Accounting with General or Tax concentration
- Master of Arts in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management (Offered jointly between Department of Management and Department of Psychology)
